Sourdough and beyond

We are a small craft bakery, our bread is always made from scratch every day in our production bakery. You can find fresh country sourdough, seeded sourdough, baguettes, bagels, rosemary focaccia, and sourdough farmhouse loafs (White or brown). For ordering your loafs in advance, check out our wholesale section or give us a call. You can request to collect in any of our 3 locations.

What makes our bread special?

Most of our bread is sourdough or a hybrid (sourdough with a tiny bit of fresh yeast). All of our bread is a 3 day process, on the first day we feed Bob, our sourdough starter, to get him up to strength. On the second day we mix our doughs, bulk rest them and shape them. We then leave them resting overnight and bake them on the third day, early in the morning, ready for delivery to Market street, the Outwoods and all of our wholesale customers.

You can also enjoy real bread having a bite in store. Check out the toasts, toasties, salads and sandwiches from our lunch and breakfast menu. We fill all our sandwiches to order to keep it fresh and to be able to customize the filling to each of our customerโ€™s preferences, so feel free to ask us if you want to change anything in your order!
